I never ended up with the right bag. ordered it twice, I ended up with two big totes.

From the fabulous reviews, I guess I was expecting a $200 bag for $18.95. The bag was disappointing in two main respects: the “red” is a dull red, anot the bright red that I thought was in the picture. Second, the zipper is not attached all along the top of the bag — it is a bit unusual in that it closes about half the length of the bag leaving the sides open for things to fall out unless you snap the attached tabs on top of the zipper and then it would be less of a risk. It’s a complicated (and clever) design, but I just wanted a simple bag with a zipper that would keep everything inside.
So instead of keeping it, I will give the bag to a friend who loves giraffes — a nice surprise gift!

I would have liked the zipper that closes the purse better if it wasn’t shorter than and in the middle of the opening. It was always in the way. Otherwise the purse was ok. It did have a really strong plastic smell when I got it but I imagine that would have weakened with age. I ended up giving the purse away. Too bad……

shortly thereafter, the inside clasp/snap broke. The bag is ok, nothing particularly noteworthy but certainly a decent buy for the price.

I purchased this bag 3 months ago. The second week I had it, the snap on the inside of the purse that condenses the sides to the middle of the purse broke. The decorative heart that hangs on the side of the purse broke as well. Now, the stitching that holds the bottom of the purse together is coming undone. When I called to request either a refund or replacement, I was told the 30 days was over. Even a cheap purse from Walmart lasts longer that 3 months. You bet what you pay for. Dooney Bourke, here I come.
